Food bible: What kind of dog food is available?

A complete food provides your dog with all the nutrients it needs - i.e. proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fibers, minerals and vitamins. It also provides them with the energy they need. Additional feeding in the form of supplements or similar is therefore not necessary. Complete food is available as wet and dry food.

The nutrients contained in a supplementary food are not sufficient to fully cover your dog's needs. Supplements must therefore always be combined with other feed components.

A single food is a single raw material, such as chicken meat, a single type of vegetable or salmon oil. Combined with other ingredients, a feed material results in a compound feed.
