What does a balanced wet-BARF menu consist of?

„It is important that the wet BARF ration is well calculated and complete. It is best to consult a vet who specialises in animal nutrition. If you want to offer your dog or cat wet BARF, always prioritise animal ingredients. The proportion of meat or fish with offal in wet BARF is 80 %. Added to this are 20 % plant-based ingredients such as fruit and vegetables. Apples, bananas, carrots, courgettes or sweet potatoes, for example, are suitable here. High-quality oils enable the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Please always observe whether the animal can tolerate these components.“

What nutrients should be added to wet-BARF?

„It is essential to supplement nutrients such as B vitamins, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, iodine, zinc and, for cats, taurine with a suitable mineral feed. There are also high-quality nutritional supplements for animals - for example Salmon Oil. In this way, you can ensure optimal care for your four-legged friend.“

From what age is wet-BARF suitable for dogs and cats?
